A new third floor master bedroom perches playfully above the old neighbourhood rooflines in this addition to an existing Halifax house.  While the massing is set back at the front, at the rear, a projecting bay in a new office reaches back into the garden capturing afternoon light.  The project is a self-contained play of volumes, emerging out of, but remaining above, the street vernacular.
